
There are many many ways to relieve stress, and many people go to different lengths to get rid of it. From pills, to the newest fad of exercises and even yoga now, people are stressing themselves out on finding the cure to stress!
Now there is no surefire way to relieve stress, it works differently for everyone but I think that I can give some hints in at least getting rid of some of the bad stress.
Tip #1:
Play Some X-Box or Playstation 2!
Playing some calming or soothing game like Mario or something that brings back an air of nostalgia could help calm some nerves and get your mind off of other things. But make sure that if you start losing alot, quit now and try something else because you may become frustrated at your skill of console gaming, or lack thereof.

Tip #2:
Play some sports or lift some weights
Although playing games on the couch can be good to relieve stress, sometimes you just need to get off your can and do some physical activity. Now I know what your thinking, “But aren’t I doing my physical activity by exercising my brain when reading this?” The answer is No. A plain and simple No. Playing World of Warcraft for 18 hours straight while your arguing with your girlfriend for not giving her attention while simultaneously reaching for the Hoagie next to your computer is NOT exercise. Get away from the artificial light and into some natural light, it may burn the first time you leave your house, but your skin will get used to that; amazing, I know. Get a picture of a favorite athlete (if you don’t know any athletes, pick one, ANY one) and try to set your goals to match that person, it can make a big difference. I look up to Georges St. Pierre the UFC fighter.

Tip #3:
Read a Book
Here comes the part where half of my readers (If I have ANY) unsubscribe to my blog. Yes I am condoning reading. It’s not like I am asking you to watch through a full episode of the Golden Girls!

If it hurts your head to think of reading, then congratulations you are just like the other 98% of American youth!
Tip #4:
Listen to some music
And I mean some real music. Come on! Shame on you for even reaching for that Jonas Brothers album. If I wanted to watch a guy dance in tight clothes and high heels to a Beyonce song then I would just turn on an old game of the Chicago bulls and watch Dennis Rodman play some ball. O.o Ball? Oddly enough Joe Jonas reminds me of that Bill guy from Silence of the Lambs.

So there are many different ways to relieve stress. People try many different ways to relieve it, sometimes goings to great lengths to even making themselves look like fools in the end. Trust me, just ask Joe Jonas. These are just a couple of tips that you could follow that might help relieve stress.
